Lyne Paquette

Artistic & Executive Director

Lyne is a founder (with Emma Tibaldo) of Talisman Theatre. A graduate of the National Theatre School (2005), set design is Lyne's second career. Prior to this, she had worked as a professional engineer (McGill, 1987). Beginning as an Assistant Designer at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival, and as an intern at Michael Curry Designs, Lyne has since designed for many theatre, dance, puppet, and opera productions in Montreal. She has designed sets and costumes for Talisman productions since 2005.

Chris Dilworth

President (pro tem)

Born in London UK, Chris took Computer Science at McGill 1981-1984, and has spent most of his working life in Montreal in information technology. In the mid-1990s Chris founded one of Montreal's first on-line communications consultancies catering to the needs of larger organizations: multi-national corporations, festivals, and museums. Chris has since returned to academia with a B.A. from Bishop's University an M.A. from Concordia University, and is completing his Ph.D. at l'Université de Montréal where he teaches English.




Zach Fraser

Secretary, Treasurer

Zach directed our critically acclaimed Coma Unplugged (2011). On faculty in the theatre department at John Abbott College, Zach also teaches on occasion at McGill University and the National Theatre School. Zach is an actor, puppeteer, director and co-founder of Montreal-based The GKW Project. A graduate of École Philippe Gaulier (London/Paris) and Dalhousie University (Halifax), Zach also recently completed a practical masters in puppetry at UQÀM. Zach is currently the Quebec Councillor for Canadian Actors' Equity Association.

Robyn Croll

Director

A native Montrealer, Robyn has a passion for the arts and has been a long-time patron of both English and French language theatre. She possesses an MBA from McGill-HEC, a Master's degree in Urban Planning (Daltech) and a Bachelor's degree in history (Queens). An accomplished marketing professional, Robyn has spent over 15 years in both the retail software and consulting industries advising clients across multiple industries on how to develop targeted and relevant marketing initiatives in order to build loyal relationships.


Robert Gagné

Director

A franco-Ontarian, Robert has an MBA (HEC) and twenty years of experience in management and communications. Since 2006 he has offered consulting and research services, and project management for artists and organisations mostly within the arts and culture sectors. He has worked in a variety of administration and managemt positions for a theatre companies in Quebec and Ontario. He has taught at the University of Ottawa. He is presently Administrative Director at Sibyllines, one of Quebec's leading arts organisations.


Alain Gagnon

Director

Alain has many years of experience working in Montreal's cultural milieu in a variety of administrative positions. He is currently Assistant Manager at Gesù--Centre de créativité where assists the general and artistic director for the administration of art projects, productions and collaborations, residencies, and for all types of partnerships such as: RAAV, Studio 303, Tangente, LV2, Les Tournées Paule Maher, Vues d'Afrique, SMIM, Effendi Records, Vue sur la Relève, Spectra, etc. He has also held positions in the gaming industry, and as a gallery curator.


Christine Lord

Director

A native of Rouyn-Noranda, Christine adopted Montreal and its rich artistic life 25 years ago. She has worked at SNC-Lavalin for almost 18 years. She acquired her experience in management within the Information Technologies group. For the past four years she has been the director of procurement systems within the Global Procurement department, where her responsibility is to provide the best solutions and tools for procurement operations. She is now completing an MBA at McGill-HEC in order to further develop her competencies.


Michael MacKenzie

Director

In the last ten years Michael's plays have been produced in translation in Avignon, Budapest, Germany, Hungary, Montreal, Ottawa, Prague, Quebec, Stuttgart, and Tel Aviv. He works with the Cirque de Soleil, Robert Lepage (ex machina). He is writer/director of 'The Baroness and the Pig' (2003) and is director and co-writer of 'Adam's Wall' (2008). He currently has three film projects funded for development by Telefilm and SODEC. Michael has a Ph.D in the Political Economy and History of Science. He lives in Montreal with his partner and two sons.


Jean Ranger

Director

Jean is a video and visual artist. He is the founder of Mindroots, an ongoing interdisciplinary lab creation that produces live multi-screen video and choreographic performances. Working with installations, the Net, improvisational contexts, contemporary dance groups and live multimedia performances, he has exhibited and performed at Ars Futura (Barcelona), the Montreal Biennale, Temps d'images Usine C, File Festival (Sao Paolo), New Museum of Contemporary art (NYC), Canadian Cultural Center (Paris), and in cities worldwide.
