THE NUDES ARE BACK! Based on the success of last year's Art Sale, the Nudes are back! The nudes are the creations of Lyne Paquette, the Artistic Director of Talisman Theatre, who created this novel form of fundraising to supplement basic government support, and "put a bit of meat on our plate", Lyne says with an impish grin. This year Lyne has produced a fresh selection of nudes during her Sunday morning art classes.

Generous community support for last year's Art Sale made possible last season's production of Marilyn Perreault's play 'Rock, Paper, Jackknife...'--a critical success. This year's Art Sale is to support Talisman's 2010 production of 'The Flood Thereafter' by Sarah Berthiaume directed by Montreal's "queen of catharsis" (Hour), Emma Tibaldo. Talisman's production of 'Down Dangerous Passes Road' won Best English production 2008 by the Association de la Critiques Quebecoise du Theatre (ACQT).
