Zach is an actor, director, puppeteer & teacher. Currently pursuing a Masters in Contemporary Puppetry at the Université du Québec à Montréal, Zach is also a graduate of École Philippe Gaulier (London/Paris), and Dalhousie University (NS). As a director, Zach has worked with several indie companies in Montreal, as well as with the Théâtre de l'Université de Montréal and The Montgomery Theatre based in PEI. His current projects include a touring production of ...and stockings for the ladies (GKW), and director of puppetry on The Heretics of Bohemia (Scapegoat Carnivale/ Segal). He has performed throughout North America, Europe & Asia. Recent performances include Andersen's Inkwell (Geordie) and Life is a Dream (Scapegoat Carnivale/ Centaur). Upcoming performances: The Game of Love & Chance (Centaur/CanStage) and The Hanging of Françoise Laurent (Stranger/Blyth). As a movement and mask teacher, Zach is on faculty at John Abbott College and has also taught at McGill University and the National Theatre School of Canada. |
